Your preferences

What the website uses

The website does not offer user accounts, contact forms, or a mailing list. Your appearance choice and analytics opt-out are stored in your browser on each site. These preferences are not a cross-site identity.

Hosting logs

Our deployment configuration minimizes routine nginx access logging. Operational error logs can still contain request or connection details such as IP addresses. The deployment guide sets a seven-day rotation policy and restricts access to server operators.

Optional analytics

Analytics is currently disabled. When enabled, self-hosted Umami measures page views and clicks to product pages, documentation, GitHub, and installers. Event properties are limited to product, version, and platform. We do not intentionally collect search text, raw query strings, personal identifiers, or session recordings. Analytics requests necessarily reach our server, which processes connection metadata; cookie-free does not mean no data processing.

Analytics records are retained for 90 days. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable collection. Blocking analytics does not prevent access to the site. Counts describe visits and outbound clicks, not completed installations or individually linked journeys between product sites.

Images and videos

Local images and videos are served with the website. YouTube videos connect to YouTube only after you choose to load them. Once loaded, YouTube processes data under its own privacy policy.
